a little about me
I began my journey in 2018 as a photographer and haven’t looked back since.
NKF stands for Nadia Khalid Farooqi; when I think about photography, I’m reminded of my late father—may Allah have mercy on him—who had a deep love for capturing pictures and videos. He cherished being present in the moment and documenting life as it unfolded. I believe my passion stems not only from him but also from my own nature and way of seeing the world. I see and feel things deeply; it's essential for me to have these emotions to curate my skills that weave into my photography.
Photography is more than taking pictures—it’s documenting art: capturing the gentle ebb and flow of each moment, transforming them into timeless masterpieces, and weaving together a love story told through images. The people before my lens are never just subjects—they are souls with their own beautiful stories and I strive to honor those stories, painting them onto my canvas with light and emotion.
When it comes to my style, I lean heavily towards documentary style photography and I tend to edit true to color, with some warmth and softness, trying to create a dreamy feel.
